I applied online for Analyst-SF position. Within 2 days recevied assignment. After submitting, I was ghosted by the HR, no acknowledgement or any update. While I understand that hiring teams manage high volumes of candidates and competing priorities, timely communication is an important part of the candidate experience — particularly when substantive take-home work is involved.

I applied and immediately got the take-home challenge and was asked to submit it within 3 days. After I submitted it I received a ATS rejection email saying my skills doesn't match their needs. This also happened to another senior DA who applied to this role. Just a genuine advice, next time when a company gave you 3 day take-home before hr screening, you'd better calculate the probability of spending 3 day on it and passing the first round before you started investing your time. Other companies may gave you a take-home before onsite interview, which is usually 3rd after you spoke with hr and hm. There is no recruiting process given and no feedback provided for the take-home.
