The interview follows the STAR method, but it doesn't always feel like the right fit for certain questions. One thing that stood out to me was the amount of probing, even after I felt I had provided complete and thoughtful responses. For example, when asked about a challenging situation with a coworker, I explained the scenario and outcome thoroughly. However, the interviewer followed up by asking how that situation tied back to my broader job goals—something that felt like a stretch and not particularly relevant to the original question. This type of follow-up happened more than once and made parts of the interview feel unnecessarily forced.
