Interview #1: Applied through school's career website and got an email 3 weeks or so later for a phone call. Was extremely nice, thoroughly explained the role, and answered all questions. Told me he wanted to set me up with the director of team to meet in person. Had interview a week later wih him and director (30 minutes with him to answer all questions [he wanted me to ask lots of questions so make sure o prepare] and then 1 hr with boss lady director who apologized for "grilling" me but I didn't feel like I was being "grilled". Mostly behavioral questions and walk me through your résumé type things.
It didn't work out for me and 1.5 weeks later the guy said I was 1 of 2 finalists but they went with the other. He surprisingly and kindly recommended me to another team looking to fill a similar role.
Interview #2: Got an email from the director of that team the same day I heard my fate and a senior manager reached out to me to set up a phone call. Spoke to her right after the weekend and told me to come in to meet her, another sr manager, and the director the next day. 30 min slots with each - time flew by (a good sign). They had prepared some behavioral questions to ask me. Very easygoing people. I had an extremely positive view of the people, culture, and position after talking to all of them.
