So I get a call about a customer service rep position from a recruiter. I usually don't ask this question but I went ahead and asked what they pay was she said between 60 to 80k and no commission. She explained the job to me and said I would be responding to customer claims and answering and resolving customer issues with their benefits. I specifically said I don't want to work sales, especially life insurance sales. She said don't worry you don't need to know anything about insurance we will train you and it isn't a sales position. So you're going to pay me 60k to answer questions about something I don't know anything about? Weird but I'll go to the interview and hear you out. After spending 3 hours reading countless reviews including one from a recruiter at Hart Mccallum in St. Louis where I was supposed to go, stating they are told to lie and say whatever to get you in the door to perform the bait and switch on them. Not to mention all the other bad reviews about not being paid for training and having to pay for your own licesning. Or the fact you have to pay for your leads and she lied and said there would never be any cold calling and half of the reviews said all you do is cold call. I called and cancelled my interview. How dare you try to trick people like that to come and work your ponzi scheme. I would have burned valuable PTO from my current job to come to do that interview. I just really hope honesty and integrity aren't part of your company mission statement.
