Completely Disorganized and insulting. I have several years of experience living and working in China and experience in program outreach. I am also Muslim and wear a headscarf. I arrived at the office for the interview and there was no receptionist available and no one seemed aware that there were any appointments scheduled. The interviewer did not appear welcoming or explain anything about the position and did not appear to have any set of questions prepared. He went through my resume and also asked me several questions bordering on illegal like whether I taught about religion in my classes in China, or whether my employers in China were okay with me teaching like "that." He then told me that my background and cover letter were excellent but I was not "qualified" for the position. I left with a very negative impression of the organization, especially for a place that claims to be about increasing cross-cultural understanding.
