3 stages, phone screen, hour long interview, reference checks.
Phone screen is typical, nothing special, just describe my past experience and get to know about myself as well as the company.
Hour long interview with the director and the team lead. Honestly it was a very relaxed and straight-forward experience. I can tell that the company relies on trust and intuition than giving candidates difficult programming tests like many other companies. Very satisfied with the interview.
Finally and most importantly is the reference check. I believe this is where most of the hiring decisioning takes place. I was required to give a few references of people who supervised me in my recent employment. My former superiors later told me about reference checking process and indeed everyone was contacted and asked in detail of their experiences working with me. This is very important and probably the decision maker stage of the interview.
Overall, a company very respectful of my time and my work experience. Thumbs up
