Interaction with the recruiter was a very pleasant experience, she was very informative and supportive through out the process. There was one technical phone screen where the interviewer went over some basic technical questions. Few days later the recruiter had set up a in-person interview which was a 4 hour session with 4 1-on-1 sessions.

If you are above 50, think twice before applying to Appian. Forget about your knowledge or experience, you will get a negative No. The painful part of it is that they try to make you feel relevant and wanted.

I had a brief 30 minutes phone interview with the recruiter who asked me about my most recent experience and then a half hour phone interview with the VP of Professional Services. Then I had an onsite interview with VP of Professional Services, Technical Architecture Director, Director of Professional Services and VP of Solutions Consulting.

With the VP of Professional Services the interview questions were more behavioral type questions based on my past experience.
With the Technical Architecture Director - create a Data Model for a library, What types of reporting/dashboard you can create, review some UI forms/pages and provide usability comments.
