This was a campus recruitment, hence we were asked to send in our resumes for a screening round. Selected candidates were called for group discussion round. A single HR Executive conducted the GD in groups of 10 candidates. The GD topics were vague such as status of sports in India and energy management solutions. Two candidates from each GD selected for interview round. Panel consisted of a Senior HR Manager and a Practice Director.

Colloquio
Group discussion and then Interview with 2 panelists. Relaxed atmosphere as it was on campus. A few questions on Syntel's work and competition, but primarily on how I would handle potential situations in a day's work at Syntel. More of an HR interview than a technical one. Lasted approximately 20 minutes and they encouraged me to ask questions regarding the job.
