Recruiter contacted me via LI and provided a link to a calendly. I setup a call and we meet for about 7 minutes. They ask me a couple of questions that verify I am who I say I am on my resume and then they said they would send my resume to the hiring manager. Two days go by and I get a follow-up message from the recruiter on LI acting as if I had not responded to their original message. Two more days go by and I get a message saying they are not moving forward.

The recruiter reached out to me over Linkedin and I was interested to apply after reading about the role. However, the recruiter cancelled last minute saying there was an emergency. He then asked me for other availability and did not reschedule until a few days later. Today was supposed to be my interview and he did not show up. No communication whatsoever. Very unprofessional.

Personally I found the process painful because when you give a homework assignment which takes 3-4 hrs to do it right (case based home work with 7+ questions), you expect your interviewers to spend more time on that plus have open mind plus provide their attention. There were two rounds, where the person was busy doing his own stuff and not giving you attention. One case, he was in Vietnam and just woke up and was busy checking his mails or whatever. Homework assignment which added 4 hrs on top of all the interview rounds, were discussed by one person who was trying to fill 1hr of allocated time by literally repeating himself.
