This was the second time in three years I'd been through an interview process with Gamesys. Both times a phone screen with HR was followed by a face-to-face interview with a hiring manager. First time, they turned up 40mins late but the interview was engaging and meaningful. They asked me about salary, then came back with an offer 10k below what we discussed. Waste of time. Second time, the interviewer was 15mins late, spent the first 15mins talking about his career to date (!!) and the next 15mins about the enormous amount of money the company made (!!!). When he finally got to ask me some questions, he asked if I was the guy with the financial services background - it became apparant that he wasn't really sure who he was interviewing and did not have my CV to hand. He seemed to sidestep most of my questions about the role claiming it should all be on the jobspec, which I was never sent despite asking HR more than once. Don't expect a straightforward process with these guys.
