Hello guys, I will share my experience with Be Wiser Insurance graduate scheme program with you all. I had a phone interview first, than face to face - 1 to 1 - interview with a gentleman named Alex. I was then invited for the final round where there were 7 of us and two examiners named Mark and Beeyanka. People from KickStart, SureStart, HeadStart ... were present. It started at 10.00am, with basic introduction first then company facts were asked and said. The ACII/CII qualification was talked about also. Then they took us to the place where we'll be working - a call center type place, people were unprofessional and their attitude didn't represent the firms highly growing stack - from my point of view you would get experience in selling their products to the customers and basic insurance importance facts would be learned - great for people new to the industry and wanting some experience. Although I must say a lot of emphasis will be given to dedicated and hardworking people and excellent career progression is true. Then we had to do group task of making paper boats - didn't see any use of this activity. Then break and then were given a task which we had to sell an insurance product to them 1 on 1 - this is to see how well you interact with the customer. Then there was 1 on 1 interview at the end. It finished at 16:00. Very basic process. Hints and Tips: Well guys, I am a graduate and hold a major in Actuarial Science but still they rejected me and when I asked for a reason they said, I was to shy and should talk more. Utterly bizarre reason because I did contribute in all question and answer sessions and said a fact about the firm which none of the candidate knew, including one of the examiners - that was about Mr. Mark Wright (The Apprenticeship winner) - research on this if you guys want to stand out - I was lucky to come across it by surfing. I was also given credit during the task where I had to sell a product to the client ( after finished they all said, very well said, well done). Anyway I was rejected and so I don't know who they are looking for certainly no use of any intelligent and charismatic people have no use. If you want the job just make sure to look nice, put a-lot of makeup and be stupid by speaking utter nonsense you will get the job. I will not apply again to such a firm again, I went in there 100% ready and prepared. Overall wasted my time, money and gained nothing.
