Colloquio
Initial telephone interview was straightforward and friendly.
On site interview consisted of just 3 questions. The main interviewer was blunt and aggressive. He later admitted to the recruiter that he was bearish about hiring me, right from the start. I doubt he spent much time reading my resume, as he seemed unaware of most of my experience. Such a waste of my time.

Was asked a general question about a category of development tool. From feedback the main interviewer gave later, it was clear he expected an answer specific to a particular tool within the category. In fact, after the interview I found exactly the page of the manual I think he was expecting to be quoted mindlessly.

Had a phone interview with a group of people at one time. Phone interview came after Bridgewater sent me a sample project and my job was to perform a code review and evaluate on the developer's solution. The phone interview was not my best experience. First, I could barely hear/understand the interviewers due to the speaker clarity and volume. Second, they were, I felt, one of most 'dry' people' I've ever come across during an interview. This is a downside of phone interviews, you can't see their faces or reaction. Overall, the questions during the phone interview was not tough except that because of their 'cut throat' mentally, they were looking for someone who possess the same ideals and be able to carry on their 'culture' at work. Not a place for me.

Based on the code review performed for this developer, why wouldn't I want to fire them?
