      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto una settimana. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Byway nel mese di nov 2024

      Colloquio

From start to finish, the interview process was extremely open and transparent, which I really valued as it gave a lot of time for the candidate and employer to get to know each other and ask questions. Shortly after applying for the role (though my application was received just before the cut-off date), I was emailed by Ellis inviting me to complete a couple of scenarios, which I enjoyed doing. While I spent a fair amount of time completing these tasks, I felt the time was well-spent as it allowed me to showcase my knowledge and expertise, though I can imagine others may be less willing to commit as much time as I did - as others have said, this is very much up to the individual to decide how much time they devote to this. Following the submission, I was invited very quickly to a screening interview with Izzy; later that afternoon, I spoke to Ellis about the in-tray exercise for around half an hour. Subsequently, I was invited to a 'top-level' interview with Cat, the CEO, Claire (COO) and Izzy. This interview lasted an hour and half and focused on work history rather than the suitably for the role. In my case, I was asked about everything, including unpaid work experience more than a decade ago, and while I can see why others might be put off by this, I was told in advance it would be a very structured interview and I personally did not have any problems with this. While I did not receive a job offer, I was kept updated throughout the process at all times - which lasted around a week between the initial contact and the "we have decided not to progress your application any further" email - which was very much appreciated. Yes, the interview process is lengthy and detailed - this is mentioned in the job advert - but that's a positive thing, not a negative, in my book. The company must be commended with how it communicates with applicants throughout the process as well: I received near-instant responses and every interaction I had was with friendly people.
