They were professional and nice. The offices were lovely. But you have to go to the office each and every day...

A standard process with 4 to 5 interviews from HR to engineering, sales, and CTO.
The issue with C3 AI is the company's lack of empathy for its applicants.
Communication is unclear and unprecise, deadlines to provide a formal answer are not respected, and HR prefers to ghost you instead of giving the correct information. No matter your own priorities or constraints.
Despite a positive outcome and an unofficial offer, C3 prefers to make you wait three months, saying "the validation process is long" instead of saying they are not recruiting anymore. They keep you dreaming, hoping you will pause your life for 6 months until they choose the right time to send you the contract.

A well managed interview process from start to finish. I applied online and within a day of my application, the C3 recruitment team reached out to get an initial interview with the CTO booked in, which was a general discussion around my background and why am I interested in C3 and artificial intelligence. There were some specific questions, but nothing designed to catch you out.
Following that, the next task was a writing assignment with 2 parts, writing a brief to a CEO on the general trends in the market and the effect that AI has on a particular business, and a sales action plan to the VP of Sales.
After that, there were 3 x 30 minute interviews, firstly with sales leadership, then solution engineering leadership, and finally with the Head of Europe. All very informal and conversational. The offer took a bit longer to come through, but enjoy taking the time to learn about C3, the product and the customers it serves!
