I was first contacted by one recruiter based on an upcoming project that he thought I'd be a good fit for. I hadn't applied to anything prior, the organization found my information online. I subsequently interviewed for an opportunity within, but not necessarily the specific opportunity I was initially contacted about. Their process is to speak with you & determine where you might be a good fit within the organization. Thus, you might not be certain of exactly what opportunity may be offered to you until they make a decicsion. After attending an orientation session & completing three individual interviews, it was determined, I wasn't a good fit for the initial opportunity even though they felt I interviewed well. CGI subsequently marketed my resume around the current projects to see which would 'bite.' Another opportunity was found, but it was a lateral opportuniy based on my current employment.
