I've interviewed at CZI twice. Both times the process seemed disorganized. First time: - Applied online - 1 phone interview with recruiter - 1 VC interview with HM - Presentation - 3-4 follow up cross-functional interviews After positive feedback, I was told I would hear back within a week on the final decision. The recruiter didn't reach out for two weeks, so I reached out and he finally let me know they were no longer hiring for the role. Second time: - Got an outreach - 1 phone call with recruiter After positive feedback, the recruiter told me she would reach out with an update in a few days. I never heard back, sent an email through and was completely ghosted. It seems like the team lacks care for the candidates and it comes through in poor communication from the recruiting team.
