Colloquio
1. Initial screening: a short call with the HR regarding my experience and the role, to see if it's a fit
2. A preliminary interview mostly based on my work experience and the projects I had worked on
3. A case study was sent over e-mail and I had 24 hours to solve it and submit a cover letter explaining my approach, an excel (analysis details) and a PowerPoint. There was then an interview based on the submission and some basic questions with the potential reporting manager
4. Another round of interview which was mostly skills based. There were some quantitative questions but most of it was diving deeper into past projects I had included in my resume
5. This was a weird one. At first the HR told me that I was done after the previous round, and they would send me the offer letter, but then another round was scheduled with the country head (one Mr. Harkesh Dabas) as he wasn't convinced with my profile. Mr. Dabas asked me a variety of questions, from puzzles to personal life to past experience, and finally, my "full name"; probably because my very generic last name doesn't betray stuff that my "full name" might.
This last round, specially that question about my "full name" didn't feel real at the time and I was absolutely baffled by it. After giving it a lot of thought, I thought I should put this out there and call out Mr. Dabas.

The interview process was technical and a bit rigid. The interviewers were more focused on the technical component of the work and were less focused on assessing the candidate's fit for the team.

How do you expect to handle government engagement should you get an offer?

Colloquio
Since there was an urgent requirement in the team, the process was pretty expedited. All senior members of the team interviewed me as well as the Global HR followed by interviews with the Associate Director and the India MD. I also had to do a Written case round which involved providing solutions for a Public Health case on Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Everyone was super nice and supportive, overall a good learning experience.

Domanda 1
Round 1- Interview with the Program Manager of the Global team
This was conversational and focused more on explaining the team and the role to me and answering my queries. There were questions revolving around my past work experience, my motivation behind applying, problem-solving approach and my ability to deal with multiple stakeholders especially government stakeholders. There were some common sense based public health questions as well, specific to the role I was applying for.
Round 4- HR interview with Global HR with behavioral questions. This was a fit-interview to determine if I would be a good fit at CHAI and if my values align with CHAI values.
Round 5- Interview with the Associate Director. This was a case study round, the question was regarding an immunization program in Rural Rajasthan. Only qualitative and no quantitative aspects of the case.
Round 6- Interview with the India MD. This was a quick interview, sort of like a final check. More focus on the questions and queries I had. I was just made to give my approach for 2 guesstimates (no actual solving, just approach). 1. How would you determine the number of people taking the Delhi Metro every day 2.) How do you think movie theatres will make money in the post-Covid world.
