Hello and thank you for your feedback! We normally pride ourselves on a transparent, predictable, and fast process where we are able to give candidates clear feedback quickly and move them through our process. In certain exceptional situations, we make mistakes, and we’re very sorry for that. In October 2021 when you interviewed with us, we were in the midst of fundraising, and that did disrupt our planning.
We’re also sorry the information provided about our business was not helpful - we make a serious effort to share meaningful information about our business fundamentals and strategy, such as guidance on our CARR, growth rates, customer counts, runway, etc. Our pending Series B at the time (since closed) from a leading investor was hopefully a validation of those fundamentals. Offering time with a founder was intended as a gesture of how seriously we take candidate questions (even though collections staff was in place at the time of your interview) and wanting to provide authoritative answers; clearly it didn’t come across that way.
