Was promised but they never delivered on taking a simple call for the interview to begin with. Bad start. No professionalism in carrying a decent screening process. Do not get fooled.

Few questions about the some ideas related to cookpad.
We are hiring for a number of CM roles across the globe. Unfortunately we have had to delay one role in Bangladesh, but are still arranging interviews for other roles. Due to the volume of candidates, we are unable to respond to every request. However, we ensure all applications are reviewed and candidates receive a response.

Interview not done by HR. Totally decided personally by interviewer not related to the country. Interviewer ask for suggestions but not really react positively to improvement suggestions. Selection made based on personal like or dislike of interviewer.

No problem with questions they asked but I believed they give candidate chances for 2nd interview just with intention to increase their app users. Their app is not fun without improvement. But they refuse to listen to feedback.
Cookpad's interview process for this role includes initial screening, a task assignment and interviews with regional managers. As part of the process we aim to help candidates understand more about the Cookpad Malaysia product and our community.

After sending resume they contacted within few days (marketing head India operations sent a mail), it was mentioned on the JD that they are not looking for business development people, but they gave assignment to increase their subscribers before hand, it was more like a cheap marketing tactic to increase their subscribers

Simply sent an email with task to create recipes and ask 5 more people to join cookpad plus post the recipes aswell and you will be solely judged on this.
