Crate and Barrel’s interview process was rather advanced. They had you come into a conference room and they had roughly 5 to 7 people at the same time using iPads to fill out an online application. Then you were escorted to your first round of interviews and if you made it past that interviewer, you were then taken to the location human resource manager. Pretty basic, not stressful really at all.

I waited for about 15 minutes to interview with a lobby filled people. The interviewer didn't ask about my skills. Only told me about the company. They needed people badly. Got hired immediately.
It was great, the interviewer made me feel relaxed and made small talk before starting. Once we got started, it felt like I was speaking with a friend versus an applying for a job. I know then that Crate&Barell offered the atmosphere that I was looking for.

I was sent a email invite for a video meeting without any notes, or message from the recruiter. I accept and waited at the time of the meeting and the lady never logged in. I sent her a message and she responded that she had to reschedule, we did and she did the same thing again. Left me waiting without any explanation whatsoever. The most unprofessional internal recruiter I have ever encountered.
