Phone interview, take home test, face to face The take home test was based around deploying a k8s cluster and an app within, all using Terraform/IaC. It was reasonably challenging, but be warned! They expect it to be hosted on a public cloud, which may end up costing you money. I incurred £7.21 for AWS The face to face involved 4 stages; system design, “dev ops” questions, abstract thinking, and culture/agile. The first was a standard whiteboard exercise, the second was just a general chat, the third was quite interesting and I won’t spoil the surprise... but research abstract algorithm problems. The last was the usual “what do you want out of your next job?” type questions. I declined before receiving any offer, so not sure if they intended to or not. Ultimately I wasn’t sold on the business model, and their office was cramped and messy.
