This was a campus recruitment drive conducted by Deloitte. Out of 400 that attended the process, 17 were eventually given job offers. My college is located in Hyderabad and ranks as one of the best colleges in the state. The talent aquisition team from deloitte consisted of mostly mid-level managers and a few freshers and seniors. As most of you might be knowing, there are 3 rounds in the process. Writeen test->Case study->HR interview. And as anyone who has attended a HR interview will tell you, this is one of the most unpredictable stages of the selection process. I was rejected here. The guy who interviewed me is the 'head of tech-consulting' of the Hyderabad Deloitte campus. I was the 5th person who was interviewed by him.
The interview was really short, maybe 7 mins max. He asked me general CV related stuff. But surprisingly asked nothing about my technical interests or why programming interests me(i'm from a non-CS background). I later got to know that only the first two people out of the 6 he interviewed the day got selected.
Both of them had amazing programming experience and really good projects spanning across Android, Python , HTML and nodeJs. It was no surprise they made it through. So my advice to all you college guys would be to work on projects that demonstrate your programing skills and ability to learn new languages/platforms. If you are from non-cs bg then...well...god knows what they need.
I had great ECs, good communication skills(won dozens of elocutions and MUNs) and i was the president of the biggest club in my college. Maybe i came across as a bit too awesome or maybe...i couldn't fit all this in the right perspective for him. Many people with resumes and profiles muvh weakeer than mine got in. Anyways, best of luck to you!

I went through two interviews. The first interview included the behavioral part and case part. The second interview was with a managing director, and the entire interview was about solving a M&A case.

Consulting Case study interview - uses STAR method, need to evaluate case question through timeline, budget, stakeholders involved (both internal and external) and KPIs. Keep in mind agile vs. waterfall methodology, phased iterative approach, and the SDLC framework.
Hired on campus . For some there were 2 rounds but I just had 1 round and that's it i was selected. Mostly resume based questions were alsed in addition to some HR questions
