Initial phone or video screen with HR is optional and not used by most hiring managers. They've gone back to in-person interview panels. Typically three diverse interviewers, with a one-on-one meeting with hiring manager immediately after. Behavioral interview questions are used, with responses expected in STAR format.

Interview was performed via Zoom with 3 other personnel. Each person took turns asking predetermined questions. After they finished asking questions, it was my turn to ask anything that had not already been addressed.
