Colloquio
I interviewed for the Production Assistant position for the ESPN Next program in Bristol, CT. It's an 18 month program, I don't really know if there are any benefits involved since it sound like a contact. There were 3 interviews, one over the phone, 2 Zoom interviews with one being with 2 people. I thoroughly enjoyed the interview but hated how long it took. I also disliked that the opportunity was in Bristol, but because it was ESPN, I wanted to go with it. The salary I was told for the program was shocking. Someone would think the Worldwide Leader in Sports would pay much more, but they don't even touch $20 an hour, which is totally sad. I'm just trying to figure out how ESPN would think entry-level employees would survive with paying for rent, car, gas, insurance, food and other miscellaneous expenses...I did not go to college to make McDonald's level salary. I happily declined the offer. Note to new grads and entry level applicants: Don't settle and know your worth. ESPN would look amazing on your resume but don't allow yourself to settle and waste your precious time. There are far awesome companies that will pay you for skills and respect you for it.

Phone call with the head of the program. Lots of information thrown out there. They'll ask question about sports. Don't have to know them all but you should. Plenty of people want to work there. Show them YOUR value.

Good interview process, everything was clear and good communication. They love to hire fans so knowledge on sports and the company is fundamental! the first phase of it though, is based mostly on basic interview questions and they are not hard to pass. Have a great mindset, relax and it will be fine.
Initial screening phone call, followed by a Zoom knowledge test for the position and then a final Zoom with multiple employees throughout the company with more targeted questions regarding working at the company.
