Take home project (data analysis or data visualisation), discussion with two engineers about its implementation & potential areas for improvement. Live ‘think through this scenario’ interview around scalable systems with two engineers (totally unrelated to their environment systems).

How would you make the system you build more robust?

Colloquio
I had a very good experience interviewing with them. There was a clear structure to the process. Each step contributed to showing myself while getting to know the company.
1. Introductory call with the VP of Engineering
2. Homework exercise. Calculate the carbon emissions for plane/train/bus/taxi journeys from an Excel file. Create aggregations. Show plots
3. Homework review. We went over my solution; how it works and possible improvements
4. Live coding interview. With Python. Average difficulty. Prepare medium Leetcode. Be able to explain running time complexity (Big O notation). Also, you need to be able to write unit tests
5. Culture interview. My favorite interview because I got to introspect myself. See some questions below
6. Talk with CTO
7. Final talk with the VP of Engineering
Everyone I talked to seemed very amicable. There were many opportunities to ask questions so come prepared!
