Over all the interview process was not difficult. You will be judged on personality and wit. They generally look for a well rounded scientist with an array of skills. There was an initial phone screen followed by two on-site interviews. The final interview lasted for 4 hours and an offer was made before I left the building. Scientific questions were general and pulled directly from my resume. No questions were asked about my thesis, papers, or previous companies.
