Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite un selezionatore. La procedura ha richiesto 3 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Envestnet (Berwyn, PA) nel mese di lug 2016
Colloquio
First phone screen with manager of development (super nice guy!). This was an hour and primarily discussed position and asked few technical questions. One weird question was why does Java have an Object class?
Next go in for on site visit with same manager (again super nice guy!). This was another 1/2 hour discussion then a written test is administered with paper and pencil! The written test has 2 UML diagram questions on it and a coding exercise to create a SSN class with methods like toString, hashCode/equals, etc. Plus there was a SQL question where they were looking for a UNION type query. I honestly can't remember ever doing a hand written coding test before so I volunteered to do the interview by actually writing code in IDE (and other questions on whiteboard) but they declined and wanted it handwritten on paper instead. Very old school type of interviewing so be prepared if you interview there! Honestly not the right fit for me.

Domanda 1
To code a USSSNNumber class in Java. What is difference between List/Set? What is difference between HashSet and HashMap? What is big data?
Three rounds with an HR round. Campus placement. Aptitude test and a test based on a lecture. Technical round was not stressing at all. No group discussion was conducted. And the results were announced on the same day.

My take on the importance of secondary education exam results
Had an initial HR interview then a technical interview.
The interview process was pretty common and things proceeded as expected. HR interview was cordial and pleasant to speak with and then the technical interview happen soon after. The technical interview was less friendly and even though it was a video interview, they did not appear on camera which kind of throws you off a bit. Questions were fine but only one interviewer asked the question the whole time and it didn't seem they were really interested so half way through I had a feeling we're just chatting 1 on 1 to get this over with. Didn't hear back from HR so expected things will not proceed from that point.
Only one technical round. Virtual on-site
Interviewer was very unprofessional.
He was constantly doubting on me that i was trying to read something from other screen.
Extremely bad interview experience..
