I applied for Project Manager, but they determined that Technical Services would be a better fit for me. I had to take a Rembrandt profile that has a few personality questions and some logical questions that were easy. The first phase was a phone screen where they went through your resume and at the end you were free to ask questions. The interviewer has been working there for 5 years and he seemed rather disinterested. A few days later, I got invited to go to Madison, WI for the interview. Madison is a wonderful place and everything about it was great. I stayed at the Concourse Hotel and the service was good. The next day we went to Verona. The campus is approximately 800 acres and just quite the beauty, but there was hardly anyone walking around. The was interviewed by a Technical Services employee. They were simply situational questions. Depending on your interviewer, this could be easy or hard; I was unfortunate. My day ended with a verbal reasoning and math tests, and later, a quick wrap-up with the HR recruiter. I think I was rather disinterested during the entire day. Epic is a nice place to work at and is exponentially increasing its work force. I am slightly confused as to why so many people are need for just one product. The people all seem to love it there and it was a general consensus among everyone I spoke with that the people made the place. Nevertheless, there seems to be no sense of career development or "mobility" at Epic, which was my main qualm about Epic.
