Applied online contacted via email to first accept the recruiter via LinkedIn and to schedule a phone screen. ( I should have known that the request was a bit extreme) After the 10-minute phone "call" which did not touch on my resume or much of my experience, I was told that my resume will be forwarded to the next recruiter for a phone interview. The next recruiter did not sound too thrilled over the phone and asked standard questions. Was told that I will be contacted within the week for next steps....didn't happen. I contacted my initial recruiter who seemed a bit shocked as to why I am following up. Overall, not professional and wouldn't work for them. Sometimes I wonder - do recruiters even know what they are looking for in candidates?
