Colloquio
I had two phone calls prior to an in-person interview. One was with a manager and the other with an HR person. Each call had a very different feel from one another. However nothing out of the ordinary that I wouldn’t expect from a phone interview.
The in-person interview was in a group setting with 3-4 employees. We reviewed and discussed a project they had me complete as well as discussed other details of their business and the position. The interview was very positive and I left with them saying the process should be wrapped up quickly since they were looking to hire ASAP.
Once I left the building all communication going forward became muddled and hard to come by. If it were not for my follow-up I doubt they would’ve made it a point to provide me any feedback at all. With each email they would respond saying they are still completing their interview and hiring process and would confirm with me ASAP. In the end they NEVER responded with a formal answer. I’m fully capable of handling a no from someone and would actually prefer that over zero response.
After reading a few Glassdoor reviews it seems I may have possibly dodged a bullet anyway. I’m sure they are good people, however they just missed out on a few small, easy details that would’ve made their process respectable. Fortunately I had other offers on the table and really didn’t miss a beat. But beware, they will drag you along and waste your time if you let them.

I was asked to complete a two hour at-home project and was given to data to analyze and present.

Very standard process. Phone screen by recruiter followed by several in person rounds. Ended with a final interview with the CEO where we got into the nitty gritty of Ops.
