I had to give a "neutral" review because my experience with the recruitment process was negative, but my experience interviewing with the team itself was positive.
I know that recruiting is a thankless job, so I always gave them leeway, but there's clearly an issue with the recruiting process - at least for more junior roles like the one I was applying for. I'm sure software engineers get more attention. I was consistently following up with the recruiter. ("So sorry for the delay. Someone will be getting in touch within the next day. to schedule an interview." They didn't, I had to follow up again.) I also got duplicate generic emails, and it was confusing who I was really working with. So I suppose my advice to candidates would be to not give up hope if it feels like they aren't interested. Just follow up.
I believe I did the phone screening and one phone interview before being asked in for an in-person interview. It was with four people. Kind of the standard mix of experience and situational questions. There's definitely an understanding/acceptance of people without finance experience and those early in their careers. The people seem great, and it felt like there was a real company focus on staff development and collaboration. It was the only place I interviewed where they actually asked about the interests listed on my resume.
I ended up getting an offer elsewhere and letting them know shortly after my interview. By the time the recruiter got back to me the next week, I'd already accepted it, but they'd offered it to someone else anyways.
