My background included excellent academic credentials for the position, but my experience was not in banking or bank examining, it was in another industry, was which accurately set forth in my resume. When I arrived at the interview, however, it was clear that the panel thought my experience was not suited for the position. While I understand the mismatch, all was set forth and known before the interview. If they thought the experience issue was insurmountable, I don't know why they invited me to interview at all. The interview was a complete wast of time. I never received any response or acknowledgement of any kind. I thought the matter was handled in a very unprofessional manner.

Structured interview with five questions and multiple parts in each question. Make sure you answer each part since they can’t ask follow up questions. Typical topics are leadership, teamwork, experience. Good luck to you!
