I got a phone call from the District Manager for a personal interview after applying online. The interview turned out to be a screening type, only lasting about fifteen minutes. It took place at the store location that I indicated in the online application. We sat on two chairs he had placed between two aisles of movies! He asked the usual introductory interview questions: Tell me about yourself, What did you like best about your last job, What did you like least about your last job, What is your greatest strength, What is your greatest weakness, etc. Bottom line: He could not even tell me how many positions were open, Where those positions were located (which stores in the area), and said that after the three month training process that you would definitely be asked to relocate to another state. He did not have any answer for how a person would be able to sell their home so quickly in the economically depressed state of Michigan.

The overall interviewing process here may seem extensive to some; however, I feel that the desire to work for a great company leads to appreciation of their process in finding the right people.
