Colloquio
The process began with a quick assessment of reading comprehension and spatial awareness followed by a brief phone interview with an HR associate. The phone interview consisted of general questions about why you are interested in GEICO and if the required three month training is an issue. Overall, the phone interview is pretty basic and the associate was pleasant to speak with. Following the phone interview, you are required to complete and email a driving history report. I was notified my driving record was accepted and was scheduled to meet with an adjuster supervisor. Upon arriving at the location I was made to wait 30 minutes past my appointment because the person I scheduled to interview with had gone to lunch. The first part of the in person interview was essentially the same as the phone interview. Very basic questions are asked as the interviewer types on a computer, There is very little feedback as the interviewer hardly looked my direction. Following a 45 minutes session, I was asked to wait again for a period of an hour while they set up an assessment. Once I was brought back, I was told the assessment was a scenario that consisted of completing tasks a typical claims adjuster may complete during their day. The assessment was fairly easy if you follow the instructions and took about 2 hours to complete. I was supposed to interview with the manager following the assessment but because of the delays I was unable to that day. The process is straightforward but I found there to be a lack of organization or professionalism while there and ended up withdrawing my application.

All the questions were fairly basic with no surprises.

I got a first interview which was a Zoom interview with a single recruiter. It was relatively informal and easy going. They appear to simply want to see if you are who you say you are on your application and you do indeed have the background and knowledge which you claim. My recruiter was very nice and very easy going. She asked just a few very typical questions about my job history. Easy stuff. We had a really positive conversation and she stated she was going to recommend me for an in person interview with the local claims manager. She said that would take place a neutral location such as a collision repair shops so we can discuss my field knowledge. She told me to expect a call from him in the next 3 business days. I received no communication after that. I emailed my recruiter after 2 weeks and asked for any update at all and received no reply. Three weeks after my initial interview I received an email stating I did not get the job.

Did you provide notice of resignation at your last job?
Informative, not many questions. Tells you
About the job and the pay. then they’ll send your application to the hiring manager if you qualify for the job. from that you will have a second interview. The second interview is when you’re offered the job

1st phone interview with hiring manager, 2nd interview was with the area manager and included a Role Play. They don't expect you to know everything they just want to see how you handle yourself under pressure in my opinion.
