One of the harder, yet more rewarding interview processes I’ve been through. Had 3 stages of the interview process. First was a phone call with the recruiter. Second was an hour long interview with the recruiter where you are prompted to do a sales role play on a random topic of the recruiter’s choice. The final stage was an hour long interview with 2 sales managers. In the final panel interview, make sure to use the STAR method for every answer. You are also asked to do a sales role play and the prompt was to sell Gartner to the managers. They prepare you pretty well for each step to make sure you do your best. Had a great recruiter that led me through the whole process and made sure I was prepared.

3 interviews were completed starting with a quick screening, a second interview, and a final interview. Process took over a month, which was a long time in my opinion for the role.

Interview process was not bad at all. They do leave out a lot of info about the realities of the role. They make the role seem as though there is a lot of opportunities to grow as well as progression through the program and that is not the case.

3 stage interview process. 1st stage was a phone call with a recruiter. 2nd and 3rd stages were competency and character based questions focused around a career in sales and at Gartner.
