My dad's friend recommended me for an intern position at this company. I emailed my resume and they called me. When they called, they asked in a very informal way what I was looking to get out of my intern experience. I said I was looking to learn more about finance and the entire business structure. They called again about a week and a half later and offered me an internship in the Life Department.

Interview process was pretty painless - started with phone interview which we're basic questions about what I was looking for and my schedule. In person I was interviewed by 6 various managers, while it was a bit overwhelming at first, the questions started to become a bit repetitive. Overall just basic behavioral questions and questions regarding how much you know about insurance and the company as a whole - do your research!
