Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite l'università. La procedura ha richiesto più di una settimana. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso HarperCollins (New York, NY) nel mese di gen 2016
Colloquio
Smooth process for the position overall. I heard about it through a reference, so I applied through the editor directly. The interview lasted about 45 minutes and it was pretty standard in terms of questions, none too tricky. It was more conversational than anything. I was asked to do a reader's report on a manuscript after.
A couple days later I had a phone interview with HR, which was quite short, about 10 minutes. Questions were asked quickly, almost as if it was off of a sheet. A little weird, but not bad per se.
The offices are beautiful by the way.

Three rounds total—HR phone screening, hiring manager, multiple managers. Very straight-forward. No editorial test. Asked questions about my internship experience, favorite authors, and ideal working environment. Very stress-free. Full process was pleasant overall
The interview was really friendly and came in two stages. They asked about experience, education and lots of competency based questions. Asked about experience and included a written task to complete ahead of the interview which was then discussed as a question.
hr screening, next round editors, readers report, then another interview. Typical questions — not extremely difficult, but definitely pays off to research the imprint and its list. Complete that readers report asap!
