Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Hearst
Colloquio
The interview with a recruiter was good. Recruiter informed me that I'd be doing a portfolio presentation with the team and the manager and gave me a couple of time slots. I chose one, and they asked if I could choose another the next day. I chose another and was told that some designers wouldn't make it. It seemed so scattered; finally, they told me they were going back to their old interview process and interviewing with just the manager. It was a hot mess. They're kind people, but the process is scattered.

Tell me about yourself Tell me about your design process
Whole process took about 3 weeks (1 interview per week basically). The recruiter was really nice and enthusiastic, she mostly spoke during our 30 minute phone call and really seemed interested in my work. Scheduling with the team lead and design team was quite fast and easy. Did a case study presentation, but felt like I didn't have enough time to ask as many questions as possible. Seemed like the design team didn't even want to ask me any questions to really get to know me as a designer or about my skills or experience. They saved the last 10 minutes for me to ask questions and immediately stopped when we hit 45 minutes. One of the interviewers didn't seem particularly interested in being there and their answers made it seem like Hearst wasn't the best place for a junior designer to start their career.
