Interview Title: Interview process felt like a brand awareness campaign
Interview Details: I was approached by an internal recruiter for a marketing role and completed an initial interview stage with leadership. After that round, the communication stopped completely.
I later noticed that this exact position has been actively posted for over a year, and multiple external recruiting agencies are constantly re-fishing for it. It appears to be a ghost job intended to generate brand impressions rather than a legitimate open headcount.
Furthermore, the company utilized the contact data collected during the application process to add me to their corporate marketing distribution lists without my consent. Using an interview pipeline to expand a marketing database and push corporate event invitations is highly unprofessional.
Advice to Management: Do not exploit active job seekers' personal data for corporate lead generation.

The interview structure was poorly organized. The HM was sick the day of my demo/case study round but didn't reschedule — which set the tone. I was given an account overview on the spot with 10 minutes to prep, then immediately asked about account health and whether the account was getting value. I answered directly based on what I had.
In the feedback, the HM said she wished I had asked more questions during that section — but I was never given the opportunity to do so. Hard to be evaluated on something the format didn't allow for.
Worth noting: this is an AI analytics company. Their product literally generates insights using AI. If you're going to penalize candidates for using AI as a resource, that's a strange stance for this particular space.
The product itself seems strong. The interview process doesn't reflect that.

The most BIZARRE interview process I have every completed.
15 min interview with hiring manager
15 min interview with someone on the team - who then became the HM because they let the first person go
30 min presentation with HM- they canceled this presentation 3 min before it was supposed to start and rescheduled for the following week. It was extremely rushed and I was expected to know in-depth product capabilities (as the CSM yes I would know this...not during the interview)
Then I get a templated rejection email after a month of not hearing back from HR.
It was an extremely disrespectful process and felt like they never had time for me.
This was a HUGE RED FLAG and I am so grateful I am not going to be working here. If this is the way that they treat candidates I can't even begin to imagine how they treat employees.
