The interview process was actually very smooth. After the lifetime of uploading everything online whole applying, it was pretty decent. I admit that I had to stay on top of HR by calling constantly to check on the status of my application. At the end of the day everything from the fingerprinting to the orientation was pretty fast.

I had a wonderfully constructive interview! The Assistant Principal was very approachable and welcoming. We talked about many facets of the school and students. The Principal was on audio, listening to everything we discussed. I left the interview with a good feeling and positive hopes for this opportunity!

The Assistant Principal asked me to share a positive lesson I taught to my students and how the students responded and learned in the process.
Seven people on a zoom call interviews you. Each take turns asking questions. Based on your experience and different scenarios with the school. A bit of a stressful process with so many different individuals interviewing you.
It was fine through zoom. There were 3 employees of HISD on the zoom. They asked me to speak about my experience. They asked my availability. They each took turns asking questions.
