Written tests followed by interview..in depth, fundamental questions asked on the basics of the engineering department during interview.. you might be asked to derive equations or analyse a problem ...Took one day for the process to happen.. overall the experience was good..
There will be 3 - 4 faculty asking questions. Each one takes ideally 10 -15 mins. They build the question based on answer to the previous question. Sometimes numerical are asked to be solved. Faculty memebers are very friendly and help answer question is stuck.

The admission process consists of two stages:
1) Written exam
2) Interview
After clearing the written exam, an interview was carried out, where fundamentals pertaining to the research area/syllabus were tested. Also, the approach used for arriving at different solutions was tested.
