Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso ITWorx (Il Cairo, ) nel mese di lug 2017
Colloquio
I sent my resume in May '17 when they came to my university's career fair, then recorded and sent a required video in June, did an exam on-site in July. In early August I was called and congratulated on being selected among the final 20, where I was invited to go to the company's HQ later that month for the final team selection process . I asked more about the position, but their tone changed completely when I mentioned that I am an international student. She said she will have to look more in the foreigners hiring process and get back to me. I got a rejection email the next day, and upon asking for a clarification for the conflict between our earlier phone call and the email, I received another phone call where someone from the company said that "This position is for Egyptians only." I explained that they should have explicitly mentioned that (on their website, flyers, or when I spoke to them in person at the faculty) before I invested all this time in the interviewing process. Their response was blaming me for not writing my nationality on my resume!
