Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto più di una settimana. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso JetBlue (Salt Lake City, UT) nel mese di lug 2014

      Colloquio

At 12:03, Monday 11 August 2014, I rec'd notice from a friend there was an open posting on jetblue.com. She works there and mentioned it had just posted. I got online around 12:45, and worked on the application materials until submission at 14:45. The application is offered solely online and included generic interview questions and options to present a cover letter and resume. At 15:38, same day, I recieved an email from JetBlue inviting me to participate in an online assessment within 72 hours. I did it that night. In that assessment, our computer screens become simulated work stations in which we act the part of a call center employee. How these questions are answered and troubleshot primarily determine the candidates ability to do this type of work. If that is passed, then the next step is a virtual telephone interview. I got my invitation for the interview at 11:42 the next day. In this, the candidate receives a series of questions via a supported website. The candidate answers these questions into his/her telephone, recording the responses. He/she then submits the responses to an automated system, as though the system were an in person interviewer. It's pretty cool, actually. Be prepared to write down the answers as you are reading them. If the recruiters are still impressed, then the next step is an in-person interview called a JetBlue Revue which lasts two to three hours. In it, the company goes over benefits, scheduling, and what it is like to work at home. After that briefing, we complete a type test and then have a one-on-one interview with a JetBlue Recruiter. I've not yet made it to that step. I've rec'd an invite for a Revue, and am scheduling it for next week. Will follow up.

The interview took about 20-25 minutes. It was a group interview with one other person and we had to take turns answering the questions. However, the questions were fairly simple and easy to answer

      Colloquio

There are three main phases to the interview process. Phase 1- A computer-based personality assessment and a technical test. The personality portion was very straightforward. The technical component involved some brief training on a customer database system and then working through different scenarios. It definitely requires strong listening and focus. Phase 2- A recorded interview. You complete a 4-5 question interview virtually. There was a brief video and then the questions. You are given 30 seconds to prepare and then a minute or two to answer the question that comes up on video. You can rerecord the video once. Phase 3- Live presentation and a group interview. The live presentation goes over basics of the position and benefits. They really stress that it requires 100% flexibility and that you will be working the less ideal shifts (nights and weekends). PT crew work 24 hours a week, typically in 4, 6 hour shifts. Training is full time with a 3 day orientation and 4 weeks of job related training. After that you have OJT which now be remote due to COVID. Schedules are by bids, so you don't know what they will be ahead of time, but there is a bid every 6 months to give time to prepare. The position is work from home and equipment is provided, but you have pay for internet and a phone line. Free standby flights are an awesome benefit, but there seems to be a lot of structure that may be difficult for some.
