Easy, fast, positive experience, everything was very common sense. No trick questions, very straightforward and to the point. Great feedback from the interviewee. Was made feel comfortable by the staff. Professional but not unpleasant or awkward. Stay on topic, answer questions, you'll do great.

Tell me about yourself. This is the toughest question in any interview.

My initial call was in January......after a month of no responses from the HR rep, out of the blue I receive an email about the hiring manager wanting to meet me and for me to send times. Again, I went about 3 weeks without hearing anything and then a call was scheduled. This happened with all 5 of the interviews I went through. After each of the interviews the HR rep would send a note saying how the person who had interviewed me thought I was great and was moving on. This all took five months.
Nobody bothered to tell me I never got the job. I reached out a numerous amount of times and the HR rep never responded. Disappointed at the unprofessionalism of a company that is held in high regard.

Are you worried about being let go due to the HP acquisition?

Applied online. Heard from a scheduler within a week and was scheduled with Peer Interviews within a couple weeks. The scheduler was not very adept at her position since there were several miscommunications on their side, but nothing catastrophic.
Since the 4 peer interviews it took 2 weeks for the in house recruiter to follow up with me (after I repeated reached out to her) and she indicated it would be a few more weeks, months, till they moved anyone to the next step (in person interview with hiring manager).
At this point I am in limbo and its been about 6 weeks since I first spoke to someone there (not including the time between sending in a resume and first hearing from them). My thoughts is there are things going on which they are sharing and perhaps the position is being "restructured". Regardless, its a long time to be left hanging there.

no real 'out there' questions. Most of the questions were relevant to the position and my experience.
