Colloquio
Roughly 10 rounds for senior PM position, is to much. Multiple interviews, presentation, than round with VP. Interview with VP of payment and tax was very unprofessional it was remote, and his internet kept breaking up, questions were very unrelated to the actual job. Was interview for PM job, but had a sense that they are looking for additional developer not a PM.

Domanda 1
Are you technical enough? Do you write code? How do you keep educated on new code? Can you travel to office? Your other jobs were remote Can you describe technical product you worked on?

There are 5 rounds in total.
Round 1: 30 min HR screen
Round 2 : 30 min with an engineering manager
Round 3: 30 min with a group PM
*Between round 3 and 4, you get a take-home assignment which is a case question. You are supposed to send in your write up 48 hrs before the next step, which is an onsite.
Round 4 - 75 minutes onsite, which includes 20 min case presentation, 10 minutes Q&A and 45 minutes of a "workshop" where you are supposed to come up with a MVP on the spot. Note that the people on this round were people you've never met in your earlier rounds.
Round 5 - VP of product.
The interview process was extremely disorganized and strange, because there is nowhere in the process where they tell you which product role or which product team you are being interviewed for. When I asked this question over and over again, they kept telling me "it doesn't matter" because it's a "shared pipeline". I invested a lot of time and energy and clear all the rounds, was invited onsite, given an office tour, and received a standard rejection message 3 days later. The rejection letter didn't even spell out which role I was interviewing for - that space where the role was literally said "TEMPLATE".
Imagine how they would treat me if I actually got the job - will I be laid off from a "template" role too? For a company that does HR software, this is almost comical.

First 3 rounds were standard PM behavioral stuff. The case round were specific to the case you chose. You will be given a list of cases that you can choose from, and a list of things you are supposed to include in your answer.

There are multiple rounds - initial phone screening with HR, conversation with the hiring manager, one case study, in office interviews with 2 different panels w/ behavioral questions and one panel where you present your case study. Everyone was very friendly but the process could’ve been streamlined. The first half of the in person interview that involved mainly behavioral questions could’ve been done before the case study - especially given the time and effort that is needed for the case study. After I had gone through all the rounds including the case study, I was told I was not a good fit because I am not senior enough for the role - ultimately I felt like I spent time and effort I didn’t need to on the case study and final interview because they knew my experience from my resume from the very beginning.
