The phone interview was fairly simple, and got the impression that it was just a routine procedure. Interviewer seemed uninterested on the phone, but invited me to the assessment center straight away, so not sure how necessary this step was.The assessment center was quite challenging, but provided a range of opportunities to demonstrate skills. It began with an ice breaker with the other candidates and the current placement students to help you get comfortable and overcome the nerves. This is a good chance to ask the current placement students questions about the process, or to find out exactly what the scheme is like at Lloyd's. The assessments involved individual presentation, question and answer, and a group assignment. Interviewers were friendly, and they allow you to talk to current placement students. Didn't provide any feedback on the process though.

Individual Presentation where they present you a sheet of information relating to a supposed scheme, as well as the results from this scheme. Was then told to give a 10 minute presentation to two people from the company summarizing the success/failure of the scheme, and what improvements could be made. They then ask follow up questions to see whether you'd be able to react to those kinds of questions.
Competency questions were there to check information given on your CV as well as to see how you fulfill the necessary attributes for the given role, and how you have demonstrated them in the past.
Group Assignment was a series of informal debates based on a given prompt. Each team has 5 minutes to draft points and ideas, and then have 5 minutes to debate the issue. Looking for how you show leadership and communication within the group

Video Interview and online assessment. Very long assessment with a variety of video interview, written and numerical assessments. Took at least an hour. Very little warning for which questions involve a video interview answer.

Applied via email using an excel template that they provided online. Got a call to be invited for an assessment centre two weeks later. Assessment centre was split into two parts: a group activity, and then an individual presentation and interview. Pretty straightforward process and was enjoyable.
