I interviewed with LoadUp in April 2023. The initial call was around 20 minutes with one of their team members where you discuss the company and position in more detail. Next they give you a code challenge. I was told to spend no more than 1-2 days on the code challenge. They told me to feel free to send them an email if I had any questions. The challenge requirements lacked clarity, so I emailed the team member I had met with a question. They didn't respond for over a week and were unable to answer any questions related to it. After following up, I was told to email the technical team about it. I emailed and didn't get a response. I followed up once later in the week and once in the following week before getting a response. Overall, it took almost a month to go through this initial step. After submitting my code challenge, I got no response. I followed up a couple days later to make sure that they had received my submission. No response. About 2 weeks after submitting my code challenge, I received an automated message saying that they were not interested. I received no further response and no feedback on my challenge submission. This was the worst interview experience in recent memory. The poor communication standards and lack of respect for interviewers' time is something that can be improved.
