I was referred by a friend who knew the store manager. They were looking for a seasonal sales associate and called me for an in person interview. I had two interviews. The first one with the shoe section manager, and the second with the store manager. The interview questions were fair and both managers were very friendly. I was asked about my past retail experience and my schedule. About a week later after the second interview, they called and offered me the position.
