I was referred by friend. I previously worked for the company and decided to return. Since I was a re-hire, I did not have to go through the HR interview. The HR interview is generally the first step. I feel the most difficult is to actually get an interview with the company and they are usually referrals. After the HR interview, they access the team you would be most suitable for unless you applied for a specific position. The positions fill really quickly, so sometimes you apply for a specific position, but the position is already in the process of getting filled. The good thing about the big company is that it is such a large company that there is so much movement that the position you applied for is most likely open on another team. HR will pass your resume to the team they believe you will be best for, then it is up to the team if they want to meet with you or not. If so, you are set up for an interview immediately. The company is quick and know what they want, they make decisions quickly. I interviewed with Director and then interviewed with Associate Manager. Position reports to the Associate. I also met briefly with Group VP. Shortly after my references were checked and then I was given an offer a few days later.
