I attended a Macy's networking night where I met three Macy's associates that had been through the EDP program. After applying, I was asked to attend the Macy's Connect Event where about 10 of us met the interviewers for the on-campus interviews that would be the next day. During the interview, I was asked to analyze a case. I was given 4 brief descriptions of my sales associates, their sales scorecard and was asked to choose which one to coach. Afterwards, I did a typical behavioral interview.

The interview process was lengthy but very conversational. I think there were 3-5 rounds. There was also a technical interview for your specific function that you took online in a closed browser.

It was easy. Just be yourself and don’t overthink it. First was a 15 min screening call over the phone. Then a 45 min zoom call with another individual. Questions related to past experience and how you deal with certain situations.

There were 3 rounds. The first is just an hr screening. You then have to take 2 exams for the second round. After the exams there is one final round. The process was very straightforward.
